Car Detailing in Langley, BC
Langley is the far west end of the run — roughly 70 km from the shop along Highway 1. Interior work, washes and wax can come to you; correction and coating work means a trip east to Aitken Rd.
The far end of the run
Langley is about 70 km west of the shop, along Highway 1. It is the furthest point Daniel named, which makes the phone call before the booking matter more here than anywhere else on this site: what the job actually is, where the vehicle will be sitting, and whether it belongs at your address or in the bay.
Fort Langley, Walnut Grove, Willoughby, Murrayville and Brookswood all get the same answer on this page — tell us the address when you call and you will get a straight one.
Closer to the coast, and the paint shows it
Langley sits nearer the coast than anywhere else on this run, and that changes what a vehicle collects. Winters here are wet and mild rather than frozen, so the constant is not crusted brine but road film — the grey sheet that comes off a wet highway and dries onto the lower half of everything. Salt still comes off Highway 1. It just arrives as spray rather than as slush.
The other coastal one is growth. Damp, shaded parking is where moss and algae start — in window seals, in wiper channels, along trim, in the gap at the bottom of a door — and where sap off big maples and cedars sits on the paint instead of drying off it. Sap that sits etches. It comes off far more easily in the first month than in the sixth.
Suburban driving does its own damage
A Langley week is stop-start on the arterials and then a freeway run east or west. Stop-start means brake dust, and brake dust bakes onto wheels until soap stops touching it — wheels can be coated from $75 a wheel while the vehicle is in, which stops the dust baking on in the first place rather than fighting it afterwards. The freeway half of the week is bug fallout and stone chips on the front end.
What comes to Langley, and what does not
Interior detailing, a hand wash, and clay bar and wax can be done at the address. Interior detailing is the easiest case for a mobile visit, because a vehicle sitting at your house all day costs you nothing.
Paint correction, ceramic and graphene coating and paint protection film are done in the shop on Aitken Rd. At 70 km that is a real trip, and it is worth being blunt about it: for those three, an indoor bay with proper lighting and somewhere dry to cure is not a preference. It is the reason the work lasts.

Say where the vehicle will be parked when you call — a driveway, a strata stall, a spot at work. From this end of the run that is the thing worth sorting out first.

The work is priced the same from Langley as from anywhere — interior flat by vehicle size, paint work from a published starting price. Travel and minimum job size are not published on this site, so ask when you call rather than reading a number off this page. See all detailing prices.
FAQ
If you are in Langley.
Do you really come as far as Langley?
Langley is the west end of the run Daniel described — anywhere from Hope to Langley. It is also the furthest point on it, so call with the address and the job first and you will get a straight yes or no rather than a maybe.
Why drive to Chilliwack when there are detailers in Langley?
For a wash or an interior you probably would not, and this page is not going to pretend otherwise — that is what a mobile visit is for. For ceramic coating, paint correction or film, the question is not distance. It is whether the work is done indoors, over corrected paint, by a shop that has been doing this in one town since 1974. That is what the drive buys.
Is there a travel charge out to Langley?
Nothing is published either way on this site, and that is deliberate — putting a number on this page that you would then be held to is worse than asking. Ask when you book and you will know before anything is agreed.
How do I get moss out of the window seals?
Gently, and not with a screwdriver. Seals, channels and jambs are the parts people forget, and they are also the parts that tell you whether a detail was done properly. Mention it when you book so the time is there for it.
