Mobile Car Detailing in Chilliwack
Interior work, washes, clay bar and wax we will do at your place — home or workplace, anywhere from Hope to Langley. Paint correction, ceramic coating and film happen in the shop, and this page says plainly why.
What mobile detailing is, and what it is not
Mobile detailing means the detailer comes to the vehicle instead of the vehicle coming to the shop. You leave it where it is — your driveway, your parking spot, the lot at work — and the work happens there.
It is not a lower standard of work and it is not a mobile car wash. What changes is not the care taken, it is what can physically be done outside a building. Interior work, washes, and clay bar and wax we will do at your place. Paint correction, ceramic coating and paint protection film happen in the shop on Aitken Rd, because they need proper lighting to inspect paint under, controlled conditions and somewhere dry to cure. A driveway cannot give you those, whoever is standing in it.
Who books it, and why
People who cannot give up a working day. Two-car households where one car is the only way anyone gets anywhere. Families who would rather not unload a car seat, a stroller and a week of the kids' things into a waiting room. Work vehicles that are parked at the yard anyway. Anyone selling privately who wants the vehicle presentable where it is being viewed.
Most of this shop's work is still done at the shop, and that is on purpose — it has been detailing in Chilliwack since 1974 and it still has the building. Mobile is what goes out from it. Mobile exists because for a lot of jobs, the shop is the part the customer cannot make work.
Does he come to my home, or can it be done at work?
Either. Daniel does jobs at houses and at workplaces, and he drives anywhere from Hope to Langley. A workplace lot is no different from a driveway as far as the detailing goes; what decides it is permission and parking. If the vehicle lives in an underground parkade, a stall in an apartment building, a strata lot or a work yard with its own rules, say so when you call rather than on the day.
Tell him the address, the vehicle, and where exactly it will be parked. He will tell you whether he can do that job there.
What he needs at the address, and how to get ready
The honest answer on power, water and space is that it depends on the job and the address, so ask when you book. Say what is there — an outdoor tap, an outside outlet, how much room there is around the vehicle, whether it is under cover — and Daniel will tell you what he needs and what he brings.
Weather is the same answer. Interior work is far less fussy about it than anything on the outside of a vehicle. If the forecast is poor on the day, call.
What helps either way: take the child seats out if you want the seat bases done, clear the footwells and the boot of anything you want to keep, take valuables and paperwork out of the glovebox and console, and unclip the dash cam. An empty vehicle is a faster and a better detail than a full one.
Mobile or shop — how to tell which yours is
Work it from the service, not from the distance. Interior detailing, a hand wash, or clay bar and wax: mobile is on the table. Paint correction, ceramic or graphene coating or paint protection film: that is the shop, wherever you live. There is no version of those three that a driveway does properly, and coating over paint nobody could inspect properly is how people end up paying for it twice.
How long any of it takes depends on the vehicle and the state it is in, so ask for a time when you book rather than reading one off a page. Call or text Daniel with the year, make and model and where it will be parked, and you will get both the price and the plan before anything starts.

FAQ
Questions we get asked.
Do you come to my house, or do I bring the car to you?
Both. Which one it is depends on the job, not on how far away you are. Interior detailing, washes and clay bar and wax we can do at your place; correction, coating and film are shop work. Say what you are after and you will get a straight answer on the phone.
How far do you travel for a mobile detail?
Anywhere from Hope to Langley. If you are somewhere in that span and not sure whether your address works — a parkade, a strata stall, a work yard — ask when you call and Daniel will tell you.
Is there a travel charge, or a minimum job, for a mobile visit?
Nothing is published either way on this site, so ask when you book rather than guessing from this page. You will be told what the job costs before anything starts, the same as at the shop.
Do you need my power and water?
It depends on the job and the address. Tell us what is there when you book — an outside tap, an outdoor outlet, how much room there is around the vehicle — and Daniel will tell you what he needs.
Can it be done at my workplace?
A mobile visit is a visit to wherever the vehicle is, so a work lot is no different from a driveway as far as the detailing goes. What has to be sorted out first is permission and parking: whether the building or the yard allows it, and whether the vehicle can be reached from all four sides. Check that, then call.
What happens if the weather turns?
Interior work is far less weather-dependent than anything on the outside of a vehicle. If the forecast is poor on the day of an outside job, call — it is a two-minute conversation and better than standing in it.
How long does a mobile detail take?
It depends on the vehicle and the state it is in, which is why there is no number on this page. Ask when you book and you will get one for your vehicle.
How do I keep it looking like that afterwards?
The same way you would after a detail at the shop: wash by hand rather than through an automatic brush, dry it rather than letting it spot, and get the salt off the lower panels and the underside after winter driving. Protection is what buys you time between details — clay bar and wax is the version that can come to you, and ceramic coating is the long one, in the shop.
